Wanigan Corporation is a carpentry firm/business in Elk Rapids, MI.  This was a summer job for around the time of three months for two years.  This job included mechanical skills like framing, roofing, siding, pouring concrete and many other skills needed for home repair and building new additions. This was a job that you had to be on time for and come with what you needed that day, putting a lot of responsibilities on your shoulders.

 

EXPERIENCE AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Building frames for buildings, repairing roofs and re-roofing them, building the frame and the mechanics leading up to and also pouring concrete, siding (vinyl), and framing in decks.

• Helped re-roof many family houses

• Rebuilt the interior to family houses to re-sell

After School Activities

• Golf Team for 3 years

• Helped with senior tip nights at G’s Pizzeria learning how to buss and be  a waitor

• Drama Club for 2 year

  • Producing Grease and this upcoming performance Guys and Dolls

Strong Computer and Marketing Skills

• Earned “A” or “B” in all computer and Marketing Classes

• Excelled in class and never fell behind

Other School Activities

• Participated on the Kalkaska Public Schools Marketing board

• Helped write, design, and present for an addition of a grant for the science department at the high school
